All around the world there are many major shifts taking place. The change is reflected in the attitude and manner of the people. It is the same with the people in Kerala. Until recent times many would have preferred staying in their hometowns. Those who had left it for employment would long to return to their ancestral place soon as possible. However, the trend has changed drastically.
Nowadays the elder and the younger generations prefer to settle down in the cities like Kochi or Trivandrum. Instead of choosing big, sprawling houses surrounded by land, they opt for modern, compact flats and apartments as their homes.
Stand-alone homeowners in Kochi are eager to shift into high utility modern flats and apartments. This is because the comfort and security provided by community living is absent elsewhere.
In Kochi flats, people find their dream homes come true. Flats have a great advantage over others models of residences. They give their residents greater privacy and security. In these days, people value their privacy more than anything and are equally keen about security measure for their homes. With more homes with all the adults working and traveling about for various purposes the need for round the clock security and maintenance of the house and premises is even great.
